Day #6: Travel Day!

Return Trip.... Ugg. After 4 days of incredible sking, it is hard to leave. We will be traveling for some 14 hours today as we embark on our return to Austin Tx. We are told that the scenery is incredible on the bus ride home so we will be packin the cameras for some final footage. More to come today.

Day #4: 1 Minute Ride (Luke Riding -- Wes Camera)

We were setting up some shots today. We are planning to film a ton of stuff tomorrow and we are all setup for it. Here is a shot of Luke riding, with Wes filming. The ride is about 1 minute long, and covered about 1 mile of the mountain. Wes followed Luke with the camera and this shot seemed to work out well. Check this out.

Reporting from the top of the mountain.

... and yes, Luke said "We just watched a helicopter airlift someone off the mountain". Cold and Blizard conditions made for tons of powder and great snowboarding.

Day #3: Windy, cold, Snow tomorow!!

Not too many videos today. It was super cold so nobody wanted to take their hands out of their gloves to take pictures.

We spent most of the day exploring good trails and finding good places to shoot tomorrow. We are expecting a snow storm for the next 2 days so we will have some great shots and good rides.

More to come, we are going to try to get some pictures of the Wistler Village tonight for everyone. Its amazing.

Day #2: We made it to the top!

First day, we spend entirely on Whistler. Here is some shots from the top.

Tomorrow we are going to explore Blackcomb. More to come. We are taking the better cameras in backpacks tomorrow now that we have our boarding legs back. You will see some much better quality backgrounds starting tomorrow.

BTW: There is a lift that takes more than 1/2 hour just to ride it, and it only goes 1/2 way up 1 of the 2 mountains.

Day #1 -- Travel Day Complete!

Everyone made it safe to the hotel at about 3:30am CST. We had a good flight and a long bus ride through some amazing mountains. Woke up this morning and packed up the gear and hit the mountains. Today is warm-up day on the boards and we will post a few videos today. Tomorrow through Sunday, expect much better mountain shots.

Everyones cell phones are dead and only 1/2 work when they are on. It appears text messaging is not working and emails take forever to come through. Phones all ran out of batteries and are charging during our first mountain runs today. We will be checking in again this afternoon!

Off to ride!
